Just 2km from Hattusa is the largest known Hittite Sanctuary "Yazilikaya"

The Tarihi Kursunlu Hamami is still operating. Of course, as usual the entrance for women is in a side street and the entrance for the men from the main street.
The lady at the reception is so friendly to show me around. Of course I am not allowed to take photos inside the Hamam, where the women are mostly naked enjoying the hot steam. After 2 minutes I have to go out... so hot.
The mosque "Gök Medrese" build in 1271 is the most important Seldjuk building in Anatolia with a nice engraved stone facade. Interesting is, that the 2 minarets are slightly not equal, maybe a rebuilding mistake. The mosque is closed, no way to see the inside.
One of the nearby apartment buildings took over some of the mosques artwork

Camp in Tödürge Lake, I am happy that Hosain took the decision not to drive further on, but to stay over night at this lake, although we still have about 1000km to drive to Georgia. One day more or less is not as important as to enjoy the trip. The barren landscape with a clear cool water is beautiful in its simplicity. Ideal for us, especially Tara, to cool down after 45° C in Siva. I suppose that the night will be cool as the lake is cool.
This is how the people gather the organic waste of a watermelon in a plastic bag and leave it at their picnic place... so sad
