Saint Michelle - Bashtova Castle - Berat - Osum Canyon

Next destination is Berat and the famous Canyon of the river Osum, but with a little detour we look for the fortress Bashtova, founded in the 6th century, north of Durrës. Astonishingly nobody there, although it is in a very good condition. Tara without fear of snakes and high walls climbs up to examine with us this abondend treasure.BLUE line is the planned route

The river Osum flows unregulated through the city of Berat with its beautiful houses located on the hills left and right of the river.

Meeting friends
The road to the canyon of the river Osum is another challenge with its narrow street, especially when a truck or bus in full speed comes around the corner. But the amazing views are worth this challenge. Just watch the pictures
We find a beautiful place down just beside the river and decide to make another 2 day break. Also a good opportunity to wash some clothes, make friends and just chill
