RED line is the actual route we drove

A small kurdish village in Dareh Chosh Valley

Baneh, our next destination is a vivid town, where they sell the newest models of international home appliances brands, many of them smuggled over the mountains from Irak to Iran.

In Kurdistan province of Iran most of the kurdish men, from all ages wear their traditional trousers and women colourful dresses. The black Tschador is very rarely seen here.

This family follows us by car just to say hello and to welcome us. They insist, that we should come to their house and have lunch together. But as usual we apologise and keep our route to reach the Sahoulan caves before it gets dark

We spend the last night together with our friends Zari and Hamid in a picknick area beneath the Sahoulan caves. In the evening it is very cold with a strong wind blowing through the valley.

We will visit the cave in the morning.
