Zarivan Lake - Marian - Dareh Chosh Valley
Orux map screenshot:
BLUE line is the planned route
RED line is the actual route we drove
On our way out of our hidden camp site we meet a shepherd, who is very astonished to find such a foreign car in this area.
Today we visit Marivan, the city beside Zarivan Lake to do some shopping and then eat grilled fish from the lake. The only access to the lake is near Marivan, the rest is full of reed and not easy accessible. So of course this place is overcrowded with restaurants and people. We don't take Tara out of the car and have a quick fish lunch to leave fast to our next destination Baneh, where they sell the smuggled goods.
We plan to swim in the evening or next morning, but the temperature goes down rapidly after sunset till 15° in the morning, so just Tara enjoys the refreshing bath

On the way we see a nice clean place beside the river in Dareh Chosh Valley to relax and stay over night
